Here in Tennessee (like most places) we keep our EMS vehicles indoors. Keeping indoors heated however is another story. So when our vehicles go out until they get warmed up and blowing heat, everyone inside is breathing and fogging up the widows. We put one of these DC powered heaters in each of our ambulances at the start of the winter. Anytime there's a call we'll turn the heater on as we load-up and it keeps the windows from fogging. They seem to work great. Most of the time they will run until we remember to turn them off (probably not the best idea but they're holding up well).
