These are very useful products for your car, truck, boat or RV / Camper when using portable or mobile 12 volt appliances
**Important** When you use our socket multipliers to increase the number of 12 volt products that can be plugged in at one time.
Be careful not to overload. You must make sure that the fuse and wiring used in the vehicle to supply power
to the original socket can handle everything you intend to plug in.
For example: The fuse is 10A and the wires leading to the socket are 16 gauge.
You intend to plug in a socket multiplier that offers three sockets and one item into each new socket.
Unless all three items total draw is less than 10 amps you will "blow" the fuse.
If you want to use a larger fuse you must first determine what the wiring in the vehicle can handle safely. Every gauge of electrical wiring has a different load carrying capacity.
