Traditional 12 Volt Appliances plug into the cigarette lighter socket and are limited in how much power they can draw. This limitation comes from the wires used for the 12Volt outlet in most vehicles. Also, the 12Volt outlets in vehicles are usually fused for only 10 or 15 amps. The Mobile Pack supplies plenty of power for cooking or operating your 12 volt products and can be charged before, after or during operation. Great for picnics, tailgating, boating, camping or anywhere you want to use your Power Hunt 12v travel products. The Mobile Pack is also a great option for those who don’t want to hard-wire anything to their vehicle.
Special Power Hunt Requirements
All Power Hunt appliances require the use of the Power Hunt power strip. The power strip connects directly to the vehicles 12Volt battery / power system. The use of Power Hunt appliances is not recommended in vehicles that do not have at least 30 amps to spare.
This will likely only be an issue for small trucks and other small passenger vehicles. If your vehicle has air conditioning and it's not being used the vehicle should have enough extra power for the Power Hunt appliances.
