There are two sets of audio inputs for those who wish to use an external CD player, MP3 player or some other audio device. One set of audio inputs are paired with a video input that can be used for VCR, video game or digital camera.
There is a coaxial antenna input which can be used for broadcast air, satellite, cable or VCR.
There is an S-Video input which can be used to input a video signal from any device you have with an S-Video output.
There is one set of Component video inputs for those who have external devices which support this type of an output.
Component video is a video signal that has been split into two or more components. In popular use, it refers to a type of analog video information that is transmitted or stored as three separate signals. Component video can be contrasted with composite video (NTSC, PAL or SECAM) in which all the video information is combined into a single line-level signal. Like composite, component video cables do not carry audio.
There is a single VGA input so that this unit may be used as a computer monitor (TV must be powered on). There is also a single PC audio input so that you may hear audio sounds and files being played on your PC or laptop over the TV's speakers (TV must be powered on).
There is a headphone output plug so that you may enjoy your program without disturbing others close to you. This signal may be split for multiple sets of headphones (3.5mm stereo splitter required).
There is one DC power input. This is the same power input that will be used when powering this unit with 110V AC power. A separate power adapter is included which will convert power from a 110V power source into 12 Volts DC.
There is a matching plastic cover included with this unit that attaches to the television to conceal all connections. Included cover provides an outlet located at the bottom to run your desired wiring through.
