Solar Battery Charger

The Solar Power Battery Charger is great for maintaining 12 volt batteries in just about any mobile application. The solar panel connects to your vehicle by one of the two included methods. Using the included 12 volt dc plug, the solar panel can be plugged directly into the cigarette lighter socket. Using the included battery terminal clips, the solar panel can be attached directly to your 12 volt battery.

The maximum power output of this solar charger is 130mAmps. That is just over a tenth of an amp, not much power for running electronics, but great for maintaining your battery!

Special Requirements for Cigarette Lighter Charging
In some vehicles the cigarette lighter does not work when the ignition is turned to the off position. In order for the solar charger to maintain your vehicle battery the lighter socket must remain active when the key is off. Some vehicles come with or have had installed a 12 volt accessory outlet. Most of these have power whether the key is on or off.
