This system allows you to see where your vehicle is whenever you want. Simply visit your TrakNet User Account and click Locate Vehicle. Reports are available for viewing online or download in PDF or Excel format. Keep an eye on teenage drivers to make sure they reach their destination safely. Assist law enforcement in theft recovery by pinpointing your vehicle's exact location.
Reports include vehicle location, speed, direction and street address. The TrakNet Consumer Tracking System also offers a starter disable and door unlock circuit. Unlock the doors or cut power to the starter via the Web or mobile phone. Disable the starter in case of theft or unlock the door for your teen to get their keys back.
The TN-4005 installs under the dash with a simple three wire connection: Power, Ground and Ignition, so it's out of sight. Use The Geo-Fencing Feature to set boundaries for travel. Keep your car in, or out, of certain geographical areas. You can also set a speed threshold to monitor speeding. The TrakNet Consumer Tracking can be set up for Multi-Vehicle monitoring in cases of multi-vehicle homes. Tracking works by receiving data from 2 or 3 satellites in the sky and transmitting that data to the TrakNet System over cell phone towers. The TrakNet System uses the information it receives to generate reports and notifications.
