Well it looks like the Audiovox FPE1907DV was a mover and a shaker. Though we have completely sold out of the FPE1907DV the Skyworth 19″ LCD 12 volt tv SLC1963A is still the most popular of them all. Skyworth 12 volt TV’s have a great track record with truckers and motor home owners. They are very sturdily built and for those that do experience a problem Skyworth customer service is top notch.

We have many great 12 volt television models to choose from and they all have a digital tuner built in so you will still be able to watch broadcast over the air programming after Februrary of 2009.

Keep in mind that most motor homes 2008 model year and earlier with TV’s built into the “dog house” will not receive broadcast over the air programming after February of 2009. Most of these television set also operate using 110v ac power. 110v ac power to these units is usually only available while hooked up to 110v ac power at a campsite, while running your generator or if you have a power inverter installed to run from your 12 volt power source. Power inverters running a 110v ac TV draw a lot more power from your batteries than a genuine 12 volt travel television. In general a 12 volt TV will only draw from 5 to 8 amps of dc power and that’s with the built in DVD player in operation.

As most of us have heard by now on February 17, 2009 all full power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. Digital broadcasting will allow stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional channels.

So where does that leave you? If you have a digital TV converter box or a TV with a built in digital (ATSC) tuner you’re on easy street. If you have neither you’re TV won’t do you much good unless you hook up a VCR, DVD player or satellite receiver. While most of us are a bit upset about the conversion there is a bright side to all this. We will get better picture quality because it takes less power to send a digital signal than it does to send an analog signal and we have a much better chance of getting reception in more remote areas.

Still not smiling? This is the perfect excuse to splurge on a brand new TV! All of our 12 volt TV’s have built in digital tuners and most have a built in DVD player too. Intended for use in your truck or RV these low power consumption televisions are lightweight and offer great picture quality.

On average our LCD flat panel 12 volt televisions draw around 5 amps of 12 volt power. Most can also be powered up using 110V A/C. All necessary power cords and instructions are included. Like everything else, they are brand new, brand name and also carry the one year manufacturers warranty.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I’d like to show you
just a few things that you can do to upgrade your RV or tractor trailer.

Here you can see a satellite radio that was installed by our guys at
12 volt travel. Probably the coolest thing about this satellite radio is that
it is controlled through a special cable designed by Pioneer electronics
just for this type of application.

The pioneer stereo and these fans were also purchased from and installed by http://www.12volt-travel.com.
These fans can really move some air and if you would like to stay cool and save gas or fuel
you may consider a few 12 volt fans of your own. Running your 12 volt fan is
a lot less costly than turning on the AC and killing your mileage by running
the vehicles AC pump.

Lets have a look at some other cool stuff.

12 volt televisions are a great add on for just about any RV or truck.
This is a great way for passengers to pass the time while moving down the road.
Children have a great time watching their favorite DVD’s instead of the white lines or telephone poles.

But my favorite part is the pillows. I love traveling and seeing new things but at the
end of the day there is nothing better than hitting the sack with these awesome pillows.
They are so soft and fluffy that you just cant help but to fall asleep.

Well as long as I’m here. . . Bye
