The rugged durability of these solar panels guarantees you'll generate solar power everywhere you go. All the components you need to set up your solar charging system are included in both Solar Panel Kits. These Kits are maintenance free and designed to give you decades of uninterrupted power.
These solar panel kits will allow you to charge your battery bank with 110V AC power and will automatically begin charging from solar power when AC is not available.
When expanding one of these kits - keep in mind that each kit includes a 25amp regulator. You must be sure to add the amps of each expansion panel to the amps of your kit to ensure that the total output is less than 25amps.
Solar panels are mounted securely, and without worry of leaks, with the
provided mounting hardware. To maximize power, the optional ARM-UNI Mounts, which tilt and adjust a full 180 degrees when you are parked, can be added to your system and offer up to 40% more charging power.
The Weekender & The Solar Elite Power Kits include components for power regulation and automatic power switching between shore power and your stored power, making them great for project vehicles and RV restorations. When rebuilding a boat or camper it is often necessary to rebuild the power system as well. These kits provide everything you need to produce 12 volt and 110 volt power (12v batteries not included).
The Weekender & The Solar Elite Solar Power Kits are not recommended for use with vehicles already equipped with power systems, especially those with an already existing power switching configuration. If your vehicle meets these criteria you should use one of our more basic solar panel kits. The more basic kits will be able to tie into your existing 12 volt charging system quickly and easily.
