The DC power cord unplugs from the mug for cleaning and storage. Be careful that the power jack on the mug handle does not become wet while washing the mug. This 12 volt electric travel mug should not be submersed in water or other liquids as it will damage the mug. The lid and the inside of this mug may be washed and rinsed thoroughly. To clean the outside of the mug just wipe with damp cloth or sponge.

We purchased several other brands before trying these. These are by far the best performing and least expensive. I wish they were a bit larger since we tend to drink a lot of coffee. What a great stocking stuffer! I know because my wife bought one for me and she put it in my stocking. I love the mug. It works great, hasn't killed my car battery and keeps my coffee piping hot. I would have never purchased one for myself but i guess she knew I'd love it. Thanks guys! Doug M.
