The Dish VIP211Z portable satellite receiver is an Energy Star Certified, high-definition (HD), single-tuner satellite receiver that is perfect for mobile use and supports pay-as-you-go programming.
Add to your existing Dish Network home account for $7/mo or purchase pay-as-you-go service in 30 day increments with no contract. It's easy to set-up and easy to activate. When you receive your new Tailgater equipment, just call Dish Network to activate the receiver and you're ready to go.
Its compact design (2"h x 12.9"w x 8.9"d) is perfect in limited space. The VIP211Z supports one TV in high-definition (HD) or standard-definition (SD), four display resolutions and Dolby Surround Sound.
This receiver does require a small amount of 110V AC power, only about 20-Watts. The power is used by the receiver to receive programming and to automatically point the Tailgater antenna.

Hey, you guys are amazing. We were thinking we might have our order in time for our next trip to Yosemite. UPS arrived as we were packing up to hit the road. Wow, in time for this trip. Just figured I'd take time to say thank you before hitting the road. We wont be updating it just yet (trying to get out the door) but we do have a super cool new GPS to play with now. Seems a little large now that I'm holding it, thinking we should have done the 5inch but I'm gonna keep it. Bigger is normally better =0)
