If you have many people who you wish to send gift certificates to, don't worry, that's actually just about as easy as sending to one person. Simply purchase one larger valued certificate and disperse it however you like amongst your group.
- Purchase the Gift Certificate
- Wait one business day for Validation Email to arrive
- Log into your account & select the "Send Gift Certificate" button
You will then be able to enter a name (first name is fine) and an email address for person who you wish to send to the Gift Certificate to.
A message area is provided where you can include your own custom message. To send with the Gift Certificate.
This is also the time when you decide how much to send. If you send the whole amount to one person, you have completed your transaction and there's nothing more to do. Sending Gift Certificates to more than one person? Simply enter the dollar amount you wish to have sent and it will be deducted from your available Gift Giving balance. This can repeat until the balance has been depleted to zero.
Your friend receives an email explaining that you've just sent them a Gift Certificate for 12Volt-Travel (clearly the best gift in the world!).
They will receive a code to enter at checkout or they can provide it to our customer service when ordering by phone. Any remaining gift balance then stays attached to their account until depleted to zero. It is also possible to use the Gift Certificate as partial payment on a larger valued purchase.
The Gift Certificate balance on any account never expires.
