Choose the coverage that's right for you.
This warranty covers parts and labor for the stated term. It does not include pickup of your GPS device. You will be responsible for delivery of the unit to a CPS authorized service center unless you add a "Service Upgrade"(below).
Warranty Coverage begins when
the original manufacturer warranty expires where the original warranty covers only one time period (i.e. 1 year parts and labor).
If the original warranty is a 2 part warranty (i.e. 90 days parts, 1 year labor), then the extended warranty coverage begins 90 days after purchase.
The accidental damage is an add-on to the warranty plan you wish to purchase. You may purchase a 3 year warranty and a 2 year accidental damage but not a 2 year warranty and a 3 year accidental damage.
Accidental Damage Coverage begins
on the date of purchase.
Service Upgrade Explained
With a service upgrade package CPS will send a carrier of their choice (usually UPS) to pick up the warranty covered unit and deliver it to a service center of CPS's choosing. Return shipping to you is also covered.
Service Upgrade may not be purchased without purchase of a Warranty plan.
Warranty + Service Upgrade
If choosing a 4 year Warranty and a 3 year Service Upgrade you would be responsible for delivery of the unit for the remaining 1 year of the Warranty.
Make sure that your Service Upgrade coverage does not exceed the coverage term of the Warranty you are purchasing.
All Other Combinations are Allowed
