Making the upgrade from a portable satellite radio device to a satellite ready Delphi stereo? In most cases you will already have run a satellite antenna to a desired location and wish to continue using the existing SiriusXM antenna with your new stereo. The plug end is probably very different from what's needed to plug into the new
Delphi stereo. You will likely benefit from this tiny adapter.
This FAKRA SMB Female to SMB Male Connector is used to connect the magnetic antenna from a portable satellite radio receiver to any of our Delphi stereos with built-in SiriusXM tuner. Many portable satellite antennas whether magnet base, clamp or through-hole mount used for portable satellite radios will all work with this adapter.
Simply plug the portable satellite antenna wire into the FAKRA SMB Adapter and then plug the adapter into the satellite antenna port on the back of the Delphi stereo. Be careful to not wiggle the plug as doing so may crack the plastic antenna jack on the stereo. You should never wiggle a plug. Push straight in and confirm function.
